Joyrides Rescue is a non-profit, all-volunteer group of animal lovers and animal advocates. Joyrides Rescue has observed an immense need in our communities to assist, rescue, foster, and provide medical care, shelter, and love for the unwanted, homeless, neglected and abused animals that live in the Greater Houston area and SE Texas. Our organization works tirelessly to help reduce the number of animals euthanized in shelters by saving as many as we can. We provide any and all medical care necessary, place them in a foster home (or boarding if a foster is not available), provide training to those who may need it and love them like our own until they are adopted.

Joyrides Rescue is based in Houston, TX 
We are an all-volunteer organization - no salaries, no overhead.
We are just like you -  we have full-time jobs, families, responsibilities.
We do not have a shelter - all of our pets are in foster homes or private boarding kennels.
We pull from local high-kill shelters and care for our adoptables until their forever family finds them.
We do not discriminate based on age, breed or health of any animal.
We are funded solely by our adoption fees, donations and our personal bank accounts.
